Are you a new MuniSoft client? I know what it is like to be the new kid on the block. There are so many things to discover and, of course, with a new environment comes a bit of anxiety. So many new people. So many new things to learn.
I remember my first day at MuniSoft. I had met a few other employees at my job interview but everyone else was new to me. I had only been in the building once and the systems were different than at my last job. I was just a little nervous!
But before long, I felt part of the team and began to feel at home. One of the things that helped me become comfortable in my new environment was the orientation the company provided.
It helped that the orientation was done with another new employee. He asked questions that I hadn’t thought of and it helped to get to know at least one other “newbie!” During the orientation, we talked about company policies and standards, as well as basics like who do I go to when I need help.
Because we get so many new clients, MuniSoft provides a similar orientation for clients who are new to our company and to our software. The orientation is done through a webinar and provides a chance to get to know both MuniSoft and other new users.
Some who attend are new to MuniSoft because they have just purchased MuniSoft software for their municipality. In other cases, they have been recently hired on to a municipal office that already has our software. Either way, the experience is a great opportunity to get to know the company and some basics about using a MuniSoft system. And the webinar is headed up by some of the same people you will talk to when you call for support.
